Beginning Sunday, September 21, 2025, Route 8 will be adjusted to align with the new Barrie Allandale Transit Terminal.

• The 8A-NB/8B-SB (RVH/Essa) will travel on Lakeshore Dr. instead of Anne St. to/from downtown.
•  The 8A-SB/8B-NB (Yonge/Crosstown) will travel on Anne St. instead of Bradford St. and will bypass the downtown.

Route 8 will also be adjusted in the north end to travel along Springdale Dr. and Cundles St. to improve service coverage.
